Hi. I am selling several sets of slates and styluses as well as a talking watch and a writing template for envelopes.
* The envelope template is for standard letters.
* The watch has a British male voice, hourly announcement and alarm can both be turned on or off, and it also features a stopwatch. Also, it doesn't have the standard alarm(s) but instead plays a tune that alerts you to the time and then plays a series of high-low beeps. It automatically plays the alarm 3 times in 5-minute intervals.
* All slates are metal. The sets of slates and styli I have are:
Pins-up 4-line 18-cell each, knob stylus.
Pins-up 4-line 38-cell each, mushroom stylus. May need repair on hinge; does not stay closed.
Pins-up 4-line 28-cell each, flat stylus. Slate features frame around punching area so that paper stays in place and can be read without removal.
No-pins 4-line 10-cell each, pen stylus. Slate features signiture guide on top. Slate & stylus comes with pad of paper. All come in cloth pouch.
The watch will come with a battery, and I can also include some Braille paper.
I'm asking $25 for everything together. That or I would like to trade them for an interpoint slate for the 11/11.5 Braille paper. If you would rather donate the slate but don't have one, the only place I know that carries them is Sparsh Products, which is at
www.sparshproducts.com
. They have an interpoint slate that is 13 lines with 35 cells each, and it's for $6.00 (U.S.)
If interested, feel free to respond here or contact me thru QuickNotes or Private Message. Thanks.
Correction from last post:
While I would like the slate I'm asking for, after having awhile to think, I feel like I will need the money more, whereas I can always get this or a similar slate myself later.
I am still asking $25 for the slates and styli, the writing guide, and the watch (new battery included), and will also include some Braille paper.
Thank you.
Alternatively, I will sell them individually: the watch for $10, the slates and styli, (each set of a slate and stylus and some paper) for $5, and the signature guide plus a clipboard writing guide for $2.
That watch sounds really neat! I had one like it, but the knobs broke and the battery went dead. I bought another, similar but not the same, and it simply died on me. I like the male voices better than the female ones. Is this watch big, tiny, or in between. I think you know what I mean. Also, how would you like to be paid and how much for shipping?
I'd say it's a normal-sized watch; it's a tiny bit wider than the band, which is the usual plastic band. It has a square instead of round face. Yeah, I like the male voices better too. I like this one because it's not loud like most talking watches and doesn't have that crazy rooster alarm. *smile* (I have another one exactly like the one I'm selling, and I do need the money, so I don't mind selling this one. It's one of my favorite kinds of watches.)
I don't have PayPal, but I can accept a check or money order. For this and any of these other items.
I would need to have someone help me in either case. I usually pay for things online to avoid the hassle of having someone write things out for me and/or go to the post office to send them etc. Still, I might do it this time, as the price really is good, but if someone beats me to it, then I wish them well.
I wish there was a way to delete unwanted topics/posts on this board, even if we had to go thru the admin or a CL to do it. Please disregard this topic, as I will be posting a new one soon that will for sure be my last revision of these and more small things I want to sell and the prices for them. I apppologize for any confusion, but I will be posting a revised version of my original topic in another post. Thanks.
